The CIMC Movement: Creating Positive Change for Native Communities
Together Toward Health Project
All CIMC offices are closed to the public until further notice. CIMC is continuing to provide services and staff can be reached by phone or email.
Project Summary: CIMC is operating a Together Toward Health Project to complete an educational and outreach campaign with 50 tribes, to set up a centralized testing hub at the CIMC Central Office, to organize and implement a “train the trainer” program to increase COVID-19 testing within Native American communities, and to organize events to administer COVID-19 tests to tribes and partners. Project Period: March 1, 2021 - November 12, 2021 Target Population: Native Americans, Alaskan Natives and Native Hawaiians living in the state of California, both on and off-reservation, federally-recognized, state-recognized and unrecognized tribes in 42 California counties. |
