Applicants are required to complete an application, provide all necessary information as required, and submit a business plan (template provided). Deadline to apply is December 31, 2024. Applications may be downloaded here ore picked up in CIMC offices. Jovelle Schuyler Eligibility: An applicant (18 years or older) must be a business with 5 or fewer employees or an entrepreneur who meet the low-to-moderate income threshold that has been affected by the COVID-19 pandemic (covid nexus requirement). Applicants must also reside within CIMC’s geographic service area. |

Project Summary:
The goal of the project is to assist individuals and or businesses who have been affected by the COVID-19 pandemic to create economic opportunities for the Native American community by increasing jobs, retaining jobs and or opening a new business.
The project provide financial assistance up to $5,000 to a number of applicants throughout a two-year project period. Funding can be used for, but is not limited to, start-up supply costs, rental payments for lease, salaries for employees, fees related to provided online services, and advertising and or marketing costs. |

This project coordinates with the CIMC Workforce Development Program, CIMC Native Entrepreneur Training Program and CIMC Members to identify individuals and or businesses in need. |
Federal funding is provided by the California Department of Housing and Community Development through the Community Development Block Grant-Coronavirus Relief.
